The 1st Saving Lives Sustainably: Asia Forum 2018 is an annual conference on sustainable production of health commodities, which took place for the first time on 13-15 June 2018 in Manila, Philippines. The Forum was organized by United Nations Development Programme Istanbul Regional Hub, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the Asian Development Bank, UN Environment, UNFPA, UNICEF, Health Care Without Harm and Business Call to Action.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Forum facilitated a dialogue between key stakeholders from the global health sector and showcased front-running public and private sector innovations on the sustainable production of health commodities. The Forum brought together more than 200 government officials, eminent thinkers, policymakers, top technical experts, suppliers and manufacturers from across the global healthcare industry from more than 40 countries.
Visual identity guidelines, including the Forum logo and materials, have been designed to reflect the importance of global collaboration of key stakeholders from the global health sector in successfully introducing sustainable healthcare production agenda and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. With a successful delivery of the Forum, Asia Forum 2018 Report and Compendium of Good Practice was designed, ensuring the consistency of good practice reporting and user-friendly data visualization.
